Yellow Passion Fruit

Maracuyá, also known as yellow passion fruit, grows best in warm climates with temperatures between 23°C and 25°C. It has a refreshing, tangy flavor and a distinct acidity. The pulp is gelatinous, ranging in color from vibrant orange to yellow, and is filled with small, edible black seeds.

Even fruits with smooth, firm skin are suitable for consumption, though they tend to have a slightly more intense acidic taste. To enjoy maracuyá, simply cut the fruit in half and scoop out the pulp with a spoon. It is most commonly used in juices, sauces, desserts, and ice cream.

Note: The skin is not edible
